Re: 2011 Projects?
Hmm, I did the perpetual calendar this year, or started it, rather, so pretty sure I'll keep going.
P52 fell by the wayside for me this year, didn't get it all done. Maybe 20 done.
And I did take the 365 photos but never scrapped them individually but lumped them on P12....
same ole, same ole for me.

Re: 2011 Projects?
I am really trying to ONLY do things that really speak to me. While Project 365, 52 Blessings, etc. are COOL projects, they don't just say I WOULD LOVVVEEEEE to do that. You know what I mean??
So, I've decided to do the perpetual calendar, Ali's One Little Word @ Big Picture and another really cool project that totally speaks to me that I can't tell you about yet.

Re: 2011 Projects?
So, I think that I want to try to come up with something to do on my blog each day, and then I can have my journaling and photos there and can catch up with the actual scrapping of it when I get time.
What are things that you guys consistantly do on your blogs? I have seen a few things like:
-Wordless Wednesdays
-Friday Fill-ins
Anyone else have anything I can add?

Re: 2011 Projects?
I'm horrible with those weekly things. I keep trying but ultimately always fail. lol
I've done Sunday Seven - seven random things from the week.
Friday Facts - same randomness but not committing me to a number.
I've seen others but can't think of them right now.

Re: 2011 Projects?
And Mon, I agree that I start off with such good intentions for these things, but my goal this year is to really blog more. I find that I am not scrapping things of Julia that I wanted because I just don't have the time with school, but if I can at least remember to blog them, then I will have a daily record to scrap later.

Re: 2011 Projects?
If I could get my head around how to get it all done, I like to do Tuesday Tales where I write about something at home or at work that happened that might be interesting.
I like to do a Wordless Wednesday and a Thursday Thirteen or a Friday Five. The Friday Fill Ins can be fun, but sometimes they're completely dorky.
My BFF (blog: http://psychgirl.wordpress.com) has something different for every day of the week --- like thoughts on books she's reading, something she's cooked, something to do with being a mom and a wife, something about being a runner... it's pretty cool.
But I'm with you, Kim. The blog is often the way that I try to keep up with stuff going on with Bella and it's where I go to find stories to scrap.

I totally get that. I think that's one of the reasons I scrap less than I used to is because I put so much on my blog. That too has slacked off as Abbey has gotten older but there was a time that it was more focused about her stories.
Re: 2011 Projects?
Thanks for all the ideas!

Re: 2011 Projects?
Hmm, as far as projects go, I want to take May Flaum's Creative Retreat class at BPS. I took her summer camp one, and absolutely loved it and got a lot of scrapping done, so want to do this one too. I also want to maybe do the perpetual calender thingymajiggy. But have to go as far, as putting it together. And I also want to get my niece's album up to date before her new brother or sister is born in June.
Re: 2011 Projects?
I'd love to do a 2-pager for every month. Let's see how that actually works out

Re: 2011 Projects?
Question for Mara...
On your TILT, how do you put together your mosaics? Is that all done in Flickr? I was looking at yours earlier today and really love what you've done. I found it inspiring to just look at yours so I was thinking maybe finding the things for the mosaic would be just as inspiring. Just worried I won't have 52 weeks of things to love! lol

Re: 2011 Projects?
Mon- I use BIG HUGE LABS They have a mosaic maker where you can choose your layout, upload photos from your PC, link directly from your flickr favorites or just add in links manually. I love having a way to choose photos from multiple sources.
They also have all sorts of other fun photo tools and best of all its free

Ah, very good to know...thanks, Mara! I'll look into that one if I decide to try this out. That weekly commitment thing might get me though. lol

Its gotten me a couple of times but over all I have done very well since Its all digi and I don't actually have to scrap them.
I plan on scrapping some of them into a mini when I feel like it.
Ive also decided to do a year long weight loss album. Just something to document my progress. (And provide positive feedback to myself)
Re: 2011 Projects?
Good for you, Mara! I was just looking at Cathy Zielske's printable Move More Eat Less journal as I'm heading down that same path.
