Helllllp! I can't insert a photo.......

I am having trouble inserting a photo. What am I doing wrong?

you need to upload the photo to a site like photobucket
then link back here using the little photo button (next to the link button)

First you will need to upload the photo to a photo hosting site ( like Flickr or Photobucket), then add the image code here by clicking on the image icon above the text box and copying the image code into that box. Does that help?

right click on the image from photobucket or wherever
it will show you a location code
block and copy the location code
come back here, open the reply box in the thread where you want to post
click on the image icon above (it's the one that looks like a single tv or image box)
it will give you the [img][/img] code
make sure your location code is between the [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
send and then look at your reply to see if it worked!

OK, one more question. I can insert my photos but they are hugemongous. How are y'all getting them smaller?

You need to use the edit function or resize function in photobucket--which editor are you using? then the one of us that uses that editor will help you with the steps...

I use iPhoto and would be glad to walk you thru...
