2.22 Talk Tuesday - Feeling Sick

Since everyone has been under the weather lately I thought this would work for this week's topic...

Do you have any special rituals for when you are sick? Do you like to be tucked in bed or do you nest on the couch? Any favorite comfort foods you like to eat? Movies you like to watch ?

Lucky enough to have someone to read or sing to you?

I curl up on the couch and try to "sleep it off".

I like my bed and a hot shower when I am sick

I tend to still do everything but my DH would take over...if I let him

I am a couch girl. I would prefer my bed, but it is up on the 3rd floor and it is too far away for me to try to play mom up there.

I also drink lots of tea when I am sick. I don't crave anything, after all, I am sick.

And depending on what kind of sick, I might want the tv on. But usually, I like the peace and quiet so I can rest.

I wish!!!! I have to keep going even when I'm sick, we are hours from family, DH can't take off when I feel bad and with 5 kiddos I can't just give up and lay down lol. But with that being said I will get super grouchy and snappy because I feel like crap and just wear myself down more, lol. I NEED A CLONE!

Hot shower.
Wish I had a hubby that would "care" for me and check on me, but that's just not his nature. If get get sick, it annoys him!
So there's not a sick day in this house.
The show must go on in this circus town...

I like to hide in bed, drink green gatorade or sweet tea, and take hot bubble baths. I usually watch tv ... something dumb. And oddly I really like McD's.

I'm a big believer that if you are sick, I try to let my body rest and recover. I like to be in my bed and watch tv or read. However, I do joke about how moms can't really get sick. I'm usually doing stuff for the kids still while sick. My dh is good about helping out while I'm sick and taking over so I end up resting some and still doing the house/mom stuff as well.

I'm usually a couch girl. Give me a blanket, the remote and some good drugs, and I'm all set. Then wait on me hand and foot until I'm better. Which, by the way, never actually happens. lol

I sleep. In my bed, preferably, with the blinds drawn so it's dark. For ungodly lengths of time.

I love my couch when I am sick. Give me a book and the remote and lots of tea with honey.
